In speaking with commercial appraisers the constant theme is "we just don’t have enough current data to answer that question". In other words, not enough buildings have sold recently for appraisers to compare current sales against historic sales. Intuitively, however, both commercial brokers and appraisers will tell you that values are lower today then at their peak 2007, and in fact lower then they were last Fall.
